Falcon Treasury Suite — Nigeria's first complete Treasury Management System
We partnered with Aristack Solutions to build Falcon Treasury Suite, Nigeria's first complete Treasury Management System for commercial banks and financial institutions — a system that competes with international products such as Calypso.

The problem
Treasury management in Nigerian banks ran on foreign platforms licensed in dollars, with support arriving from another timezone. A local alternative had to match the incumbent on capability before price could matter at all.
What we did
We built the platform for Aristack, a software consulting company that now maintains it and sells it as SaaS to banks and financial institutions. The financial backend is Java, designed to be deployed behind bank intranets with no exposure to the internet, and it ships with an investment portal that gives retail customers an internet-banking view of their treasury portfolios. After delivery we spent a little over a year training and upskilling Aristack's engineering staff.
Where it stands
Demand has grown gradually beyond Nigeria into West Africa and other African nations. Aristack's team supports and extends the system in our absence, which was the objective from the start.
What we engineered
Most of the platform is engine work — the parts a bank has to configure rather than commission.
Configurable by the business
- Custom workflow engine with a drag-and-drop flow designer, so process flows and role-based approvals match how the institution already runs
- Rules engine for defining business logic at runtime, without redeployment
- Dynamic EOD process engine where business teams choose which tasks and task groups run at defined CRON intervals — parallel processing brings a systemwide valuation in under ten minutes
- Custom email templating
Security and control
- Internal and external authentication: Active Directory and OAuth from a range of SSO providers
- Dynamic RBAC with fine-grained permissions governing what each user can interact with
- Full security policy management for control teams — password expiry, idle timeout, password history, retry limits, concurrent session caps
- Full audit trails on security and data, tracking every system change to the user behind it
- License server issuing jailbreak-proof licenses, preventing an internally deployed instance from being hijacked
Integration
- Standalone ESB connecting core banking, SWIFT and proprietary financial data sources
- Custom SWIFT engine with MT and MX support, message rules definable by business users instead of large template files
- Support for multiple document storage systems
Interface
- Multitab UI — a day-one requirement. Banking officers work several tasks at once, which would otherwise mean a browser tab each: clunky, click-heavy, and in conflict with the institution's concurrent-session policy. We built a custom UI router that opens business pages as tabs inside the application frame
- Investor portal for retail customers to monitor treasury portfolios
