Fountain Stream — an AI-integrated media platform for a global audience
We consulted on the architecture and development of Fountain Stream, the online media and music platform of Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministries: web and mobile applications over an AI-integrated cloud backend.

The problem
The engagement was a full overhaul of the ministry's software infrastructure, bringing every arm of operations — CRM through logistics — behind one secure, continuously deployable control centre. The internet-facing part, Fountain Stream, was the most critical: a catalogue meant for a global audience that was effectively unsearchable, single-language, and hard to navigate on mobile.
What we built
Web and mobile applications over a pluggable set of microservices on Kubernetes, with the AI pipeline running as part of normal operations rather than as an experiment.
Where it stands
The platform is positioned as a global resource pool for the body of Christ. Community and social features are in the works.
What we engineered
One control centre behind the ministry's operations, and a media platform in front of them.
Platform
- Pluggable microservices on a Kubernetes cluster
- Full DevSecOps pipeline with continuous deployment managed by ArgoCD
- Centralised identity with Keycloak — separate realms and security policies for internal and customer-facing applications
- Single sign-on and social login
AI
- Custom speech-to-text engine driving automatic transcription, synopses and chat-based Q&A
- AI-generated artwork per message, easing the art and publicity team's workflow
Discovery
- Full-text search across all messages with both semantic and BM25 similarity indexing
- Personalised recommendation and ranking across a pool of nearly 10,000 two-hour messages
- Collaborative filtering with Metarank
Delivery and revenue
- Web and mobile applications built for the catalogue rather than adapted to it
- Custom internet radio channel, run without a cloud SaaS dependency
- Payment integrations for donations and giving
- Community and social features (in progress)
